Phases 1 and 2

Ocean Wharf was constructed in two phases – the river and tower blocks (Phase 1) and blocks A, B, C & D (Phase 2). The management and freehold arrangements for each phase are completely separate.

As Phase 2 was completed in 2000 it is referred to as Ocean Wharf 2000 (OW2000) to distinguish it.

OW2000 Residents' Association

The Residents’ Association and its elected committee are the means by which we try to ensure that Ocean Wharf remains a pleasant environment in which to live. The success of the Association is very much dependent on the active participation of its voluntary members who all have limited spare time, and as such you are warmly invited to join - the more people we have, the more effective the results and the time any single individual needs to contribute is reduced.

The benefits of membership are:

  • Password-protected online access to meeting minutes and financial documents
  • Attendance at any General Meeting
  • Right to call an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM)
  • Voting rights on issues raised at any General Meeting, and significant issues raised at committee meetings (via online polling)
  • Right to contact the committee on relevant issues
  • Right to be nominated for membership of the committee
  • Voting rights at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the election of committee members
  • Participation in social events and suggestions for further events

The next AGM will be towards the end of this calendar year.
