Access to the site

There are two vehicle access gates and two pedestrian access gates along Westferry Road.

Vehicles

The southern vehicle access (next to the park) is for tenants in the original Ocean Wharf buildings only, while the northern vehicle access is for blocks A, B, C, and D (known as Ocean Wharf 2000, as this is when they were built). There should be one parking space per apartment.

Activating these gates is done using the remote control fobs, which should be given to you when you move in; if not, please see the porter.

Companies using these access ways to deliver furniture, shopping or other large items must be brought in by the residents, and should be escorted back out again.

There is only one parking space per flat so please park in your nominated space only. If you have visitors, please be courteous to your neighbours and leave a note inside the car stating who is being visited and how they may be contacted. Please see also ParkingFAQ.

The northern gate can also be opened externally using the security code number, available from the porter (not disclosed here for security reasons).

Egress

The vehicle entrance gate opens on approach for vehicles wishing to exit but please ensure you assist any visitors, including taxi drivers and delivery vans – do not leave them stranded!

Pedestrian

The main pedestrian gate is located next to Franklyn James. A separate gate is just south of this by the bus stop, but this is for residents of block C (it has their door bells next to it).

Please ensure this gate has shut behind you, and inform the porter if it is faulty. Do not give the code to external parties.

There is a gate on the western side of the southern car park leading to the Thames Footpath, but this is permanently locked (and hopefully will be removed with council consent).

Egress

There is a button on the wall of block D by the gate - press it to exit.

Gate codes

The concierge should be able to provide the code for your block but in case of difficulty please contact LRM or indeed any member of the ResidentsAssociation.

Please do not give out codes to take away delivery staff or other visitors. Let’s keep Ocean Wharf a safe place!
